Our impact through gospel outreach and humanitarian programs in Loima sub-county.
REDISOL exists to build communities where dignity, hope, and justice are restored through both gospel outreach and tangible support. Below are some of the key achievements we have made while serving our neighbors in Loima and beyond.
The people of Loima face a wide range of challenges that limit well-being, stability, and the ability to fully embrace the gospel. Our programs are intentionally designed to address both spiritual and practical barriers in tandem.
Remote communities often lack regular spiritual teaching and discipleship, making it hard for families to grow in faith.
Many families live without reliable access to food, leaving them vulnerable to exploitation and instability.
Limited access to education prevents people from engaging fully in community development and civic life.
Water shortages force families to walk long distances and increase the risk of waterborne diseases.
Climate shocks, droughts, and other emergencies disrupt livelihoods and deepen vulnerability.
Environmental degradation and energy waste undermine long-term sustainability for local communities.
Poor sanitation and disease prevalence reduce quality of life and increase strain on families and clinics.
Many groups are excluded from decision-making and resources, preventing equitable access to opportunity.
Many people lack knowledge of devolution and civic rights, weakening participation in governance.
These challenges deprive Loima residents of their deserved wellbeing, security, freedom, comfort, dignity, and the sanctity of life. Since Jesus Christ also ministered by feeding the hungry and healing the sick, REDISOL was formed in October 2020 by Ewaar Wilson and 23 like-minded members to follow the footsteps of Jesus and initiate programs that address these barriers to gospel acceptance.
Just as Jesus preached while providing food and healing, we preach to locals while tackling food insecurity, water scarcity, malnutrition, and other challenges that hinder gospel uptake. When these barriers are reduced, the gospel message can flourish.
